Preston was released from the hospital on New Year's Eve. The cardiologist told us at 8:30 a.m. that we could go home after some tests. It was a long day of a few tests and a lot of waiting. We finally arrived home around 8:00 p.m.

“It’s the most difficult, the most rewarding and the most fun. I think this is the greatest thing I could possibly achieve, and hats off to all the parents out there.”

Jen, this is an incrediable journey you & Preston are taking.
I am so on the outside here but I feel like I have been been right there with your posts. So glad you are at home and things continue to improve. Take care of yourself, you are his best asset at this point. Having kids is certainly the most important work I have ever done. My heart is with you.
